I’m using the Averaged DT-MSLA monthly datasets (http://www.aviso.altimetry.fr/en/data/products/sea-surface-height-products/global/msla-mean-climatology.html#c10358) for my project and don’t understand what units the data are in. Within the netCDF file the metedata states the units are in m (meters). It also lists a scale_factor = 0.0001.
How do I implement the scale_factor? The data seems incorrect if the scale_factor is or is not used.

Normally the scale factor is already applied when the data is read, so the units should be meters when you look at the data in BRAT.
